Clay Conrey interview for his "Working Cows" podcast.

I taught a school in Faith South Dakota at the Wedge Tent Ranch owned by Bart and Shannon Carmichael on October 2nd and 3rd. Clay was one of the attendees and scheduled an interview after the school was over.

You can listen to that interview HERE

The interview centered around commonalities of old fertile cows.

1) Glandular function, 2) butterfat indicators and 3) wedge shape and what those things look like.

I hope you find something useful in the interview.

Social License ... what is it? How do you get it? How do you LOOSE it?

What is the Social License to Operate (SLO)?

The social license to operate (SLO), or simply social license, refers to the ongoing acceptance of a company or industry's standard business practices and operating procedures by its employees, stakeholders, and the general public. The concept of social license is closely related to the concept of sustainability and the triple bottom line.

Todd Churchill gave a “Ted type” talk at St. Olaf College a few years ago. Describes how big coal LOST their social license and how big AG is losing their social licence with consumers. How is that playing out in 2020?

With Covid 19 and all of the mis-information/data that is being foisted upon us, perhaps BIG: Medicine, Pharma, News, Agriculture, etc are nearing a tipping point with the average American.

In my opinion…if we did the opposite of what each of these aforementioned “industries” suggests, we would lead happier and healthier lives.

Imagine eating clean, mineral-rich food that comes from soil full-of-life. Hypocrites urging would spring into our lives…”Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be (contained in) your food!”
